Taking inspiration from a classic Easter recipe that many of us made as kids, we've given the nostalgic cornflake cake (or Easter basket!) a Neat protein twist. It couldn't be simpler to make either, so it's perfect for getting the whole family involved this bank holiday weekend!
Melt your coconut oil or butter and dark chocolate in a pan on a medium heat. Once melted, take off the heat and stir in the sweetener of your choice and chocolate protein until smooth.
Next, stir in your cereal, mashing it slightly with your wooden spoon but making sure it stays in reasonably big chunks.
Once well-combined, pop your mix into a greased baking tray or baking cases and put in the fridge to set for at least 3 hours.
Take out the fridge and serve, topped with mini eggs for an extra indulgent twist!
