Pumpkin Spice Protein Waffles

Autumn means falling leaves and pumpkin spice! So in a very seasonal recipe, we thought we’d try and capture that warm hint of spice that a well-known coffee brand have made synonymous with October. 

METHOD:

    Preheat your waffle maker on a medium heat setting.

    Pop all ingredients into a blender of food processor and mix until you have a smooth, slightly runny batter. Pour into a waffle maker and cook until golden.

     

    NOTE: Our waffle maker doesn’t need to be oiled but if yours does, use some of the coconut oil to grease the plates.

    Pumpkin Spice Protein Waffles

    • 1 scoop Neat Nutrition vanilla protein
    • 1/2 cup oats
    • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup almond milk
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
    • 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil
