Neat at Balance Festival
This weekend Team Neat headed to the Old Truman Brewery for a 3-day celebration of all things food, fitness and wellness at Balance Festival.
We had not one, not two, but THREE stands set up across the event, certainly keeping us busy all weekend!
Our main shake bar was in the refuel café, where we were serving up a choice of whey and vegan protein smoothies all day to help you recover from some seriously sweaty workouts! Our AM shake was a Limited Edition Coffee Cooler made with vanilla protein, cinnamon and our favourite Ozone coffee and our PM shake was the super tasty Good to be Green smoothie with vanilla protein, banana, spinach and Plenish coconut milk. We were also shaking up the crowd-pleasing Sweet like Chocolate all day – because you can’t go wrong with chocolate protein, banana and Pic’s peanut butter!
As well as our main bar we also put post-workout recovery right on F45's doorstep with our second stand upstairs, and our third was near our friends Third Space and Active Man. We loved spending the weekend chatting to people about all things protein, supplements, nutrition – and giving out samples too of course!
One of the weekend’s highlights had to be when Lee took to the Lab on Friday afternoon with Ozone Coffee Roasters to chat about the ins and outs of opening a café. The talk was full of useful tips for budding entrepreneurs and it was awesome to hear that so many of you enjoyed learning a little bit more about Neat Nutrition and the Neat Café.
It was also great to have so many Super Trooper’s pop by to see us, who certainly earned their free shakes for coming out on top in a killer workout with UN1T, and there was unsurprisingly a lot of interest in our competition to win a YEAR'S supply of protein… that’s a lot of protein smoothies! We’ll be announcing the lucky winner soon.
It's safe to say it was quite a weekend; we're still feeling rather full from eating so many tasty samples but we hope you all enjoyed the festival as much as we did. Let us know what you thought in the comments below…
