Slow Releasing Protein

We've made some changes to our product line and it no longer includes slow-release protein. It’s not a decision we took lightly, however, we’re confident we have other great products that could become your new go-to!

Here at Neat, our Whey Protein is naturally and locally sourced from grass fed cows in the British countryside. The result? A deliciously creamy and great tasting whey protein shake with high levels of all the essential amino acids, including the branch chain amino acids (BCAAs). All this contributes to the development and growth of lean muscle; perfect for post-exercise recovery and for use at any other time of the day you feel you need a protein boost.

Want a Slow-Releasing Option?

Slow Releasing Protein | Neat Nutrition. Clean, Simple, No-Nonsense Protein.

Slow-releasing protein gives your body a steady release of nutrients, ideal for endurance athletes or taken before bed to keep your body nourished overnight. For those who still want to reap the benefits of a slow-releasing supplement, try mixing a scoop of Whey or Lean Protein with 400ml of milk (ideally semi-skimmed or full fat). In its natural form cow’s milk is 80% casein, so it’s an ideal choice to slow down the digestion of your whey-based shake. You could even throw in some nut butter too, as the healthy fats, protein, and dietary fibre will also help to slow down absorption.
