The Best Places in London to Watch the Wimbledon Finals this Weekend

If you're anything like us, your plans this weekend revolve around watching the Wimbledon finals with a glass of Pimm's in hand and maybe even some strawberries and cream. But before you decide to cancel all social plans to curl up on the sofa, why not grab your friends and find somewhere in the city to soak up the atmosphere? So to help you celebrate the great British tournament in style, we've rounded up some of the coolest spots in London to watch the tennis this weekend...

Wimbledon London | Neat Nutrition. Clean, Simple, No-Nonsense.

Strawberries and Screen, King’s Cross

With one of the biggest screens in central London, Strawberries and Screen in Cubitt Square is the ideal place to get a good view of the action. Pack up a picnic and head down early to grab yourself one of the 50 deck chairs available, or treat yourself to some classic Wimbledon-themed treats from the bar.

Location: Cubitt Square, King’s Cross, London, N1C 4AB

Big Screen On the Green, Fulham

This super-sized, premium screen might come with a price tag - £7.50 – but it also comes with live music, entertainment, international food stalls and a menu of summer-inspired cocktails. Following the success of last year's event, Parsons Green will be bringing the finals to you in a festival-style environment.... glass of champagne on the green anyone?

Location: Parsons Green, Fulham, London, SW6 4UL

One New Change, St Paul’s

Watching Wimbledon from a roof terrace with a view of one of London's most iconic buildings? Yes please! The epic surroundings might be a little distracting, but One New Change's rooftop is a pretty cool spot to watch the Centre court action. Bring a picnic and a few drinks (as long as you leave glass bottles at home!) and plan to get there early to grab yourself a beanbag.

Location: New Change Rd, London, EC4M 9AF

Big Screen On the Beach, Roundhouse, Camden

Want to escape the city and hit the beach but can’t bear to miss the tennis action? The Big Screen on the Beach in Camden is opening this weekend with free screenings of the Wimbledon finals on the 15th and 16th of July. It'll be open from midday until 11pm, so you can grab food from one of their beach-side bars and settle down for the day to enjoy the tennis with the sand between your toes.

Location: Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road, London, NW1 8EH

The Pimm’s Wimbledon Bar, Oxford Circus

Wimbledon is all about Pimm’s O’Clock, so it’s no surprise that the Pimm’s Wimbledon Bar on the Roof Deck of Selfridges is one of the best place to go to watch the fight for that trophy! Eating Wimbledon-themed treats and sipping on Pimm’s with a view of London’s skyline and a (hopefully!) gripping game of tennis sounds pretty good to us! The screen might be small, but the Seflridges pop-up makes up for it with it’s epic summer vibes. No reservations needed.

Location: Selfridges & Co, 400 Oxford Street, London, W1A 1AB

Aorangi Terrace, Wimbledon

Whether you know it as Henman Hill, Murray Mound, or it's official name Aorangi Terrace, there is no doubt that the best atmosphere on the big day is in the Wimbledon grounds. Even if you missed out on court tickets in the ballot this year, you can still join a huge crowd of fans on the hill to enjoy the most electric Wimbledon atmosphere around - but only if you have the willpower to get up early and join the queue!

Location: The All England Lawn Tennis Club, Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 5AE
