This is probably our favourite shake. It’s so easy, simple and so gosh darn delicious! It’s a great recovery shake if you’re hitting the gym at the weekend and have time to whizz this up when you get home. We've tried it out on our refuel sessions as well as at Soho House and it's always been a big hit!
The banana will provide that much needed potassium, which will help replace what you’ve lost through sweating. The nut butter will give you a boost as well as making your shake taste like heaven. We used smooth peanut butter from our friends at Pic's because it's really yummy, but you could go with almond, cashew or hazelnut.
A little trick we learned from our friends at Frame – freeze your bananas (in halves if you’re buying mega ‘nanas)! This will keep them fresh, as well as giving your smoothie a delightfully slushy consistency without needing too much ice.
Just pop everything in the blender (liquid first) and blend until smooth. Treat yourself and pour into the fanciest glass you own before adding a shaving of dark chocolate like you’re trying to impress the Masterchef judges.
