Christmas is all about the chocolate, and we'd eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout December if we could. Which is why this black forest oats recipe is making all our dreams come true - providing the chocolate fix we're craving whilst still being the perfect post-workout refuel.
Mix together the oats, cocoa powder, milk and salt in a saucepan and cook over a medium heat, stirring regularly. Once the oats have thickened and are almost finished cooking, stir in the protein, 3/4 of the cherries and 2 squares of chopped dark chocolate. Add an extra splash of milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
Serve with extra cherries, dark chocolate, and milk if you wish.
