Chocolate Peanut Granola

This recipe is a combination of all our favourite things - chocolate and peanut butter and granola! It's a wonderfully indulgent way to start the day, and certainly beats a boring bowl of coco pops, but be warned... you will want to eat the whole batch in one sitting!

METHOD:

Preheat the oven to 170c, and line a tray with baking paper. Mix together the peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil until smooth, before add in all your other ingredients except the chocolate chips. Stir well until everything is well-combined.

Spread out on a baking tray and bake for about 30 minutes, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and, if adding chocolate chips, stir them into the granola after about 5 minutes, whilst there is still some warmth. Allow it to cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to make the granola nice and crunchy before eating, or storing in an air-tight container.
