Thanks to its perfect balance of salty and sweet, dark chocolate and sea salt is always a winning flavour combination at Neat HQ. These protein balls are also made using chunky mixed nuts and whey protein to make these a more satiating, energy-boosting snack.
Start by mixing the dates, cocoa powder, protein, sea salt and almond butter in a food processor. Add in the honey 1 tbsp at a time.
Once the dates start to break down, add in the nuts and the dark chocolate and mix until they are well combined but there is still a chunkiness to the texture.
Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and store them in the fridge for the best consistency.
