Selasi’s Date & Flaxseed Protein Balls

Our Great British Bake Off favourite is back with another protein ball recipe. Protein balls are a great snack alternative, perfect for making as a batch and having once a day in the office or on the go. They're also ideal for an energy boost before a workout if you're the type of person who has to eat to fuel, but doesn't want anything too heavy. 

 

 

METHOD:

Start with the protein powder, oats, dates and cashews and blend on high until the nuts and dates have broken down. You’ll need food processor for this step.

Next, add the peanut butter and flaxseed and blend on the lowest setting. Once combined, add the milk slowly until the mixture starts to bind together.

Roll into balls and pop in the fridge. 

 

Selasi’s Date & Flaxseed Protein Balls
(makes 12 balls)

  • 1 scoop Neat Nutrition Chocolate Protein Powder
  • ½ cup oats
  • 1 cup dates
  • ½ cup cashews
  • 2 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed
  • Milk or almond milk to bind
