Protein Hummus

Protein Hummus | Neat Nutrition. Clean, Simple, No-Nonsense.

We make a lot of sweet treats with our proteins here at Neat HQ, but its not just pancakes and protein balls that you can use your protein powder for! We teamed up with Hannah at This Is Good who whipped up an awesome protein hummus for us using our Naked Protein.

Naked Protein is unflavoured so it’s perfect for savoury dishes where vanilla, chocolate or berry just aren’t going to work. Meanwhile chickpeas, the main ingredient of this dish, are high in fibre and as well as iron, phosphate, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc and vitamin K which are all important in maintaining bone health. So all in all, this is a great snack to share out at a party!

Hummus ingredients | Neat Nutrition. Clean, Simple, No-Nonsense.

METHOD:

This one’s really easy. Just pop everything in the blender (except the oil) and blend, drizzling the oil as you go. It may get a little hard to turn the blade, so if you need more moisture, add a little water too.

Once the chickpeas are well blended, along with the rest of the ingredients, pop the hummus in a bowl and drizzle with oil and a little smoked paprika.

    YUM!
