Chocolate Avocado Shake

We've spoken about fats on the blog, and specifically the monosaturated fats found in avocados

Monounsaturated fats can help reduce bad cholesterol levels in your blood, which can lower your risk of heart disease and stroke. They also provide nutrients to help develop and maintain your body’s cells. Oils rich in monounsaturated fats also contribute vitamin E to the diet, an antioxidant vitamin most individuals need more of.

So we thought we'd pair the wonderful avocado with chocolate and create a shake that'll give you a boost of good fats!

Chocolate & Avocado Shake

METHOD:

Just pop everything in the blender (scoop your avocado from the skin) and blend until the mixture is smooth.

Top tip - if you freeze your bananas in halves, you can store them in the freezer and use them in your smoothies in place of ice!

Pour into your glass of choice and enjoy!
