Protein French Toast
Although we love our protein pancakes here at Neat, it's time to give the spotlight to another one of our favourite breakfasts - french toast! This recipe is low in sugar and contains a healthy dose of protein, whilst still tasting like the epic brunch dish we know and love!
In a large, shallow bowl, whisk together your egg with the milk, protein, cinnamon and sweetener if adding, until smooth.Soak both sides of your bread in the mixture, leaving it for a couple of minutes.
Whilst this soaks, heat a small amount of oil or butter in a frying pan on a medium heat.Once hot place your soaked pieces of bread in the pan, pouring any extra eggy liquid on top.
Fry the bread on both sides until golden brown and crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Serve with berries and maple syrup or any other toppings of your choice!
