These oaty, nutty bars of deliciousness are not only vegan, but will cure those cravings for something filling between meals. With no equipment needed, anyone can create these beauties with no hassle.
Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and combine them using your hands -make sure all of the ingredients are well combined.
Place cling film into a large tray and transfer the mixture into the tray. Pat down the edges, moving into the centre, to make sure the mixture is compacted.
Place in the fridge for approximately 6 hours then remove and cut into snack squares.
To make the chocolate sauce, drain the water from the soaked dates and place them into a food processor along with the cacao powder. Pulse the ingredients to create the chocolate sauce.
Spread the chocolate over the snack squares and sprinkle with desiccated coconut.
