Is there anything more refreshing then strawberries? We wanted to capture that summer feeling and give you a healthier snack to keep cool while you’re enjoying the action on centre court. Strawberry Nice Cream was born!
You’ll need a little patience with this one, but the end result is so yum it’ll be worth it!
Pop the almond milk, protein powder and strawberries in a blender and whizz until smooth. Pour the thick mixture into a Tupperware container and add a few smaller cut chunks of strawberry. Place in the freezer.
After ten minutes, remove the container from the freezer and stir. This will break up the ice crystals that will be starting to form. Repeat every fifteen minutes and you’ll see that your smoothie start to take on a slush-like consistency. The longer you leave it between stirring, the larger the ice crystals will be.
Once your nice cream is at a creamy but thick consistency, remove and serve for a refreshing snack while you watch the tennis!
