Roasted Chickpea & Tamari Savoury Oats
Savoury oats might seem like a strange concept to some, but it's actually a super tasty and satisfying way to kick off the day! Similar to a risotto, but much quicker to make, these oats are great for giving you the slow-releasing energy you need whilst keeping your sweet-tooth in check.
Place the oats, corguette, tamari, nutritional yeast in a pan on the stove with enough water to cover the ingredients. Place on a medium heat and keep stirring until thickened and the oats are cooked through.
Whilst this is happening, heat up a non-stick frying pan and crack an egg into it once hot.
Once the oats are cooked, take them off the heat and stir in your Neat Nutrition Vegan Protein Powder. Add a little extra water if needed, until you have the desired consistency.
To assemble, pour your oats into a bowl, top with a drizzle of tamari, chilli flakes, spinach leaves, the fried egg and 1/4 cup of roasted chickpeas.
