Valentine's Chocolate Protein Truffles

Treat someone this Valentine's or better yet, treat yourself! These protein truffles are a nice little bonus you can create, using healthier ingredients than the usual sugar and chocolate Valentine staples.

METHOD:

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon. Make sure the coconut oil is soft, but not melted. Once combined, roll into balls and cover with cacao powder.

Alternatively, pop the mixture into the fridge for twenty minutes. Once it's firm, roll out and use a cutter to fashion love hearts or the shape of your choice. 

Valentines Protein Truffles
(makes 10)

  • 1/2 cup (softened) coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 scoop chocolate Neat Nutrition Protein Powder
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • Pinch of salt
