Can't decide between your favourite chocolate protein smoothie and a warming bowl of oats? Why not have both! This recipe uses a thick chocolate shake as an indulgent sauce that melts into your hot oats...
Place your oats in a saucepan and cook with 1 cup of your milk on a medium heat, stirring regularly. As your porridge starts to thicken, add in the sweetener of your choice and a small pinch of salt.
Whilst this is cooking, blend up the frozen banana, chocolate protein and 1/2 cup of milk until smooth.
Once thickened, place your cooked oats into a bowl and stir in the tbsp of chocolate chips if adding. Pour over the smoothie on top and add any additional toppings if desired.
