PB&J might be a flavour combination mostly eaten by small children, but we still think it tastes epic no matter how old you might be! There's not much we won't try and turn into a healthy protein ball recipe, so this week we've given your childhood afternoon snack time a very grown up upgrade...
Start by blending your oats, dates and peanuts in a food processor until they break down into small chunks.
Add all your other ingredients - except the berry jam - and blend again. Add the jam in last and give one final blend to incorporate through the whole mixture.
Roll into bitesized balls and store in an air tight container.
(Makes approx. 18)
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2 tbsp flaxseed
- 2 sachets Neat Nutrition Plant Protein (Vanilla)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter - we love Pic's
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
- 10 large medjool dates
- 3 tbsp maple syrup or agave
